Dr. MomBaby Breastmilk Enhancement

Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup rolled oats

- 2 cups of filtered water

- 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed

- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)


Instructions:

  1. In a medium sized pot, add the oats and water and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes until the oats are soft and thickened.

  3. Add the ground flaxseed, stirring to combine.

  4. Stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.

  5. Remove from heat and transfer mixture into a blender or food processor.

  6. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.

  7. Serve warm or cold, topped with extra honey or syrup if desired.


Benefits:

This recipe is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals to help support healthy breastmilk production, including iron, zinc, selenium, calcium, and magnesium.
