Natural Cradle Cap Remedy for Babies



Ingredients:

• ½ cup extra-virgin coconut oil

• 1 teaspoon tea tree essential oil

• 2 teaspoons jojoba oil


Benefits:

Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer, known to hydrate and soften the skin. Tea Tree Essential oil is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, helping to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation. Jojoba oil helps to keep skin healthy by providing antibacterial properties.

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the coconut oil, tea tree essential oil and jojoba oil together until homogenous.

  2. Rub the mixture into the scalp of your baby.

  3. Allow the mixture to sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water and a mild soap.

  4. Repeat this process every other day until cradle cap is gone.

  5. If cradle cap persists, consult with a doctor or natural health practitioner for further advice.

  6. Store any remaining mixture in a jar with a lid and store in a cool dark place.


Note: Always do a patch test on your baby’s skin prior to using the mixture to ensure no adverse reactions occur. Do not use this recipe if your baby has any open wounds or sores on their scalp. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.


This natural remedy should be used as a complementary treatment to conventional treatments prescribed by a doctor or health practitioner. Always speak with your healthcare professional before starting any new treatment regimen.
