Instructions:
Begin by heating a small amount of honey in a saucepan on low heat until it is liquidy (about 1 minute).
Add ¼ teaspoon of turmeric and mix it well.
Peel and grate a small piece of ginger root, then add it to the mixture.
Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the saucepan and stir everything together until it is fully combined.
Pour in 1 cup of coconut water and stir it into the mixture.
Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving to your baby.
Serve as needed for relief o cold symptoms.
Note: For babies under 1 year of age, do not add honey to the recipe. Coconut water may be substituted for another liquid such as breastmilk or formula. Consult with a healthcare professional before giving any home remedies to your baby.
