Updated: Nov 26, 2023

Ingredients:

-1/4 cup baking soda

-1 teaspoon raspberry leaf powder

-3 drops of lavender essential oil

-7 drops of chamomile essential oil

-2 teaspoons arrowroot starch or cornstarch (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together baking soda, raspberry leaf powder and arrowroot starch or cornstarch (if desired).

  2. Add the essential oils of your choice and stir to combine everything together.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a bottle or jar with an airtight lid.

  4. To use, sprinkle a small amount of the powder on your baby's bedding, such as sheets and pillowcases.

  5. Rub the powder gently into the fabric for maximum effectiveness.

  6. Remember to always use caution when using essential oils near babies, and never apply them directly onto your little one's skin!

Tips:

  • Increase the amount of essential oils in your recipe if you'd like a stronger scent.

  • If your baby has sensitive skin, reduce the number of essential oils used or replace them with calming herbs such as chamomile or lavender.

  • Store your powder in an airtight container and place it away from direct sunlight.

  • Use your baby powder recipe within six months for best results.

  • Consider using organic ingredients whenever possible to ensure the highest quality of care for your little one.

This natural baby powder can help soothe and calm your child before bed, helping them get a good night's rest without any harsh chemicals or toxins! It's easy to make, and is a great way to provide your baby with a gentle sleep aid. Enjoy!
